Donations of any size are gratefully welcomed. All funds raised go directly to poets and poetry in Nevada County.

GET LIT with the second annual Nevada City Poetry Crawl, a fundraising event for the Sierra Poetry Festival, sponsored by the Nevada County Arts Council.

Participating Nevada City venues include BrewHaus, Deer Creek, The Fern, Szabo, Nevada City Winery, Seven Stars Gallery, Wonder Docent, and ‘UbaSeo.

Readings and performances by some of our most beloved literary lights will take place at 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00, with time for you to crawl from venue to venue. You won’t want to miss custom-crafted brew—such as the Poetry Pilsner at Three Forks—and cocktails created just for the occasion by some of our stellar saloons.

Free and open to the public. All are welcome! We hope to inspire your generous contributions toward the literary arts and the Sierra Poetry Festival, now in its 10th year. All donations go directly to poets and poetry in our community.
