Bring along a journal or notebook (the old-fashioned paper kind), pens and/or pencils, or you may make a journal from scratch paper if you don't have one. Using word tickets, dictionary pages, collage materials, Susan will lead exercises focusing on creating inner refuge in these challenging times – sanctuary from heart to page. In this workshop, we will ask our shadows to speak. Susan says, “Whenever I open my journal, I find I breathe more deeply.” The San Francisco Chronicle says of Susan: “Wooldridge wants each of us to connect with our inner poet. Savvy . . . optimistic, warm, unpretentious.”.
